Vacuum Controller: Service and Repair

REMOVAL

Control Assembly/Center Finish Panel:

1. Remove the control assembly from the vehicle.
2. Move the function selector lever to the OFF position.

A/C-Heater Control Assembly-Disassembled:

3. Remove two screws attaching the vacuum switch to the control assembly and remove the vacuum selector switch.


INSTALLATION
1. Move the function selector lever to the OFF position.
2. Position the vacuum selector switch to the arm of the function selector lever making sure the control assembly bracket pins are inserted into the selector assembly holes. Be certain that control arm engages the side in the vacuum selector.
3. Install two screws to attach the vacuum switch to the control assembly.
4. Install the control assembly in the vehicle.
