LOWER BALL JOINT

Mark VII & 1982---87 Continental
1. Support vehicle in normal driving position with both ball joints loaded.
2. Clean area around grease fitting and checking surface. The checking surface is the round boss into which the grease fitting is installed.
3. The checking surface should project outside the cover, Fig. 3. If surface is inside cover replace lower arm assembly.
