LINCOLN-MERCURY: 1985-88 MARK VII, CONTINENTAL
ISSUE: Damage to the internal electronic components of the anti-lock brake system (ABS) control module may occur if circuit continuity checking is done with a battery powered or "ground seeking" test lamp.
ACTION: If service is required, use the EEC IV breakout box and a digital volt-ohm meter to check circuit continuity.
CAUTION: Do not check any of the circuits with a continuity test lamp.
