The 1985 Electrical Vacuum Troubleshooting Manual (EVTM) shows a connector (C200) at the speed control servo on the subject vehicles.
When the speed control servo was placed under the fender, Job 1, 1985, this connector was eliminated. The servo is now directly wired to the amplifier connector.
Speed control servo wiring continuity checks must now be performed at the speed control amplifier connector
- use connector C243 (pg. 125) for LTD/Marquis. Use C210 (pg. 182) for Continental/Mark VII. Use C221 (pg. 72) for Mustang/Capri continuity checks.
