1. Place the transmission in Neutral or Park.
2. Bring the engine to normal operating temperature.
3. Place A/C-Heat selector to the Off position.
4. Disconnect and plug the vacuum hose at the throttle kicker.
5. Place the transmission in specified position.
6. Check/adjust curb idle rpm if adjustment is required.

2150-2V Carburetor With TSP-Dashpot Kicker:

^ Adjust the curb idle speed screw.

^ Adjust the saddle bracket adjusting screw.
7. Place the transmission in Neutral or Park, rev the engine momentarily. Place the transmission in specified position and recheck curb idle rpm, readjust only if required.
8. Remove the plug from the throttle kicker vacuum hose and reconnect.
9. Whenever it is required to adjust engine idle speed by more than 50 rpm, the adjustment screw on the Automatic Overdrive (AOD) linkage lever at the carburetor should also be readjusted.
