Throttle Body: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect throttle position sensor and throttle air bypass valve electrical connectors.
2. Remove PCV vent closure hose from throttle body.
3. Remove four throttle body attaching nuts, then separate throttle body from intake manifold.
4. Remove and discard gasket between throttle body and EGR spacer.
5. Reverse procedure to install, using a new gasket. Torque throttle body attaching nuts to 12 - 18 ft. lbs.
