Rear
Removal
1. Raise and support rear of vehicle, then remove wheel and tire assembly.
2. Remove screw attaching brake hose bracket to shock unit bracket.
3. Remove retaining clip, then disconnect parking brake cable from lever.
4. Using an open end wrench to hold slider pin in position, remove upper pinch bolt, Fig. 11. Loosen, but do not lower slider pin pinch bolt.
5. Carefully rotate caliper away from rotor, then remover inner and outer brake pads and anti-rattle springs from anchor plate.

Installation
1. Using tool No. T87P-2588-A or outer suitable tool, rotate caliper piston clockwise until fully seated, Fig. 13. Position one of the two piston slots so that it will engage the nib on the rear of the brake pad, Fig. 14.
2. Position inner and outer brake pads on anchor plate, then install anti-rattle springs.
3. Carefully rotate caliper assembly over brake rotor. Ensure brake pads and anti-rattle springs are properly positioned, Fig. 12.
4. Apply a suitable thread sealer and locking compound to pinch bolt threads. Install and torque pinch bolts to specification, while holding slider pin in position with a suitable open end wrench.
5. Position parking brake cable to lever, then install retaining clip.
6. Position brake hose and bracket to shock unit bracket and install attaching bolt.
7. Install wheel and tire assembly, then lower vehicle.
8. Cycle brake pedal several times to position brake pads and caliper piston.
