Removal and Replacement

REMOVAL

1. Disconnect the Air Bypass Valve Assembly connector from the wiring harness.
2. Remove the two Air Bypass Valve retaining bolts.
3. Remove the Air Bypass Valve and gasket.

INSTALLATION

1. Clean gasket mating surfaces, making sure not to damage surfaces.
2. To install valve, reverse removal procedure.
3. Tighten retaining screws to 87 lb. in. (10 N-m).
