Front Doors
RemovalFront And Rear Door Switch Assemblies:
1. Carefully pry front of switch housing up from armrest using a flat-blade tool and unhook rear of housing.
2. Remove wiring connector by removing connector retaining nut (driver's door) or the two connector retaining screws (passenger's door) and carefully prying connector from switch base with a small thin-bladed screwdriver.
3. Remove two switch retaining screws and remove switch from housing.
NOTE: On passenger's door, to facilitate power window switch removal, loosen two rearward power door lock switch retaining screws.
Installation
1. Install switch to housing using two retaining screws.
NOTE: On passenger door, rear power window switch retaining tab is sandwiched between power door lock switch tab and switch housing screw boss.
2. Install two rearward power door lock switch retaining screws (passenger's door only).
3. Install wiring connector to switch base by pressing firmly into place and install connector retaining nut (driver's door) or two connector retaining screws (passenger's door).
NOTE: The connector is "keyed" and can only be installed one way.
4. Install switch housing to door armrest by hooking spring clip into armrest, rotate switch housing down and firmly press housing retaining legs into armrest pushnuts.
