Warning Lamp (Check Suspension)
The ``Check Suspension'' warning light, located in the overhead console, serves the following diagnostic functions:
1. During normal operation with the ignition switch in the Run position and the ``Check Suspension'' light glowing, a possible air suspension problem is indicated.
2. During self-diagnosis testing, the ``Check Suspension'' light blinks 1.8 times per second to indicate the diagnostic routine has been entered, then blinks the test number being run during the test sequence.
3. During ``Air Spring Refill'' procedure, the ``Check Suspension'' light blinks once every 2 seconds to indicate the air spring fill routine has been entered.
4. Observing the ``Check Suspension'' light during normal operation with the ignition switch On can aid in detecting the following Air Suspension System problems:
a. During normal operation, the ``Check Suspension'' light will glow for approximately one second and go out when ignition switch is turned from Off to Run position. The lamp does not operate with the ignition in the Off or Start position.
b. If ``Check Suspension'' light fails to go out after turning ignition switch from Off to Run position, no battery 12 volt power to the module is indicated.
c. If after turning ignition switch from Off to Run position, ``Check Suspension'' light glows for approximately one-half second, goes out and then glows continuously after five to eight seconds, a height sensor or harness problem is indicated.
d. If after turning ignition switch from Off to Run position, ``Check Suspension'' light comes on and glows continuously any time after 8 seconds, an Air Suspension System problem is indicated.
e. Once the ``Check Suspension'' light comes On during an ignition On cycle, it will continue to glow for the duration of the ignition On cycle.
