ISSUE: A front brake pull to the right during application may be caused by the brake shoe and lining material.

ACTION: Install a new front brake shoe and lining service kit that contains disc pads made of a new lining material. Refer to the 1990 Lincoln Town Car Shop Manual, Section 12-20 for service details.

Each kit consists of .....

^ Two (2) inner shoes and linings

^ One (1) RH outer shoe and lining

^ One (1) LH outer shoe and lining

NOTE: DEALER STOCK OF THE ORIGINALLY RELEASED FRONT BRAKE SHOE AND LINING KIT (FOVY-2001-A) LISTED IN THE PARTS CATALOG SHOULD NOT BE USED ON THE 1990 LINCOLN TOWN CAR.
