This TSB article is being republished in its entirety to include vehicles built before 11/19/91.
ISSUE: A windnoise or "buzz" may occur because the upper windshield moulding becomes loose or partially dislodged along the top of the glass.
ACTION: Apply RTV silicone sealer to improve retention of the upper moulding assembly to the glass. Refer to the following procedure for service details.
1. Press the moulding assembly back onto the windshield.
2. Lift the moulding as shown in Figure 1.
3. Fill the area along the top of the windshield with RTV silicone sealer.
4. Clean excess RTV silicone sealer off of the vehicle.
