BRAKES - PULL TO RIGHT - CARS BUILT BEFORE 10/1/90
LINCOLN-MERCURY: 1990-91 TOWN CAR
ISSUE: A slight brake pull to the right during application may be caused by the brake master cylinder. This may be due to a master cylinder that does not distribute hydraulic pressure evenly.
ACTION: Install a new design master cylinder. The new master cylinder is a "linked piston" design which reduces the pressure difference to nearly zero. Refer to the 1990/1991 Lincoln Town Car Shop Manual, Section 12-01, for service details.
