TECHNICAL INSTRUCTIONS

INSPECTION PROCEDURES

Visually inspect the muffler and muffler inlet pipe for perforations due to internal corrosion.

If the muffler/inlet pipe is perforated, replace the muffler and muffler inlet pipe.

PLEASE NOTE:
Catalytic converters are not covered by this program.

REPLACEMENT PROCEDURES

Refer to the 1990 Lincoln Town Car Shop Manual, Section 26-01 for the muffler and muffler inlet pipe replacement procedures.
