NOTES
^ Do not connect the positive lead of the EDIS diagnostic cable or VRS tee until directed to do so.
^ The SAW and IDM detectors in the EDIS diagnostic will not work unless the positive and negative leads of the cable are connected.
^ The battery voltage must be at least 12 VDC.
^ Be careful not to bring a fluorescent trouble lamp close to the vehicle wiring. If the key is on and the VRS is disconnected, the EDIS module may fire the coil.
^ When using a DVOM to measure DC voltage readings, connect the positive lead to the jack identified with A (+) sign and the negative lead to the jack with A (-) sign.
