Upper Control Assembly:

Front Suspension:

1. Raise and support vehicle, then remove wheel and tire assembly. Position jack stands under both side of frame just to the rear of lower control arm.
2. Position a suitable jack under lower control arm.
3. Remove nut from upper ball joint to steering knuckle pinch bolt, then tap out pinch bolt.
4. Mark positions of caster and camber adjusting cams for use during installation, Fig. 4.
5. Using a suitable pry bar, spread slot to release ball joint from steering knuckle.
6. Remove upper control arm attaching bolts, then remove upper arm assembly, Fig. 6.
7. Reverse procedure to install. Align caster and camber marks made during removal. After completing installation, check front end alignment.
