ED6 Checking Wiring Harness (Circuit 416 To Ground)

^ In order to determine if vehicle wiring harness has air spring solenoid valve circuits in the proper location the following test is required:

^ Using an analog ohmmeter, connect one lead to right rear air spring solenoid valve vehicle wiring harness connector Circuit 416 and other to a known good chassis ground.

^ Is ohmmeter reading less than 2 ohms?

YES -- Air spring solenoid power Circuit 416 and ground Circuit 43OA are reversed. RELOCATE these circuits to the proper location. RECONNECT air spring solenoid valve and air suspension control module. REPEAT Service Bay Diagnostic safer service is made.

NO -- Right rear air spring solenoid valve's ground Circuit 430A has a resistance to chassis ground that is above acceptable limits. REPEAT Service Bay Diagnostics after service is made.
