EE6 Checking Wiring Harness (Circuit 421)

^ In order to determine if the vehicle wiring harness has the vent solenoid valve circuits in the proper location the following test is required:

^ Using an analog ohmmeter, connect one lead to vent solenoid valve vehicle wiring harness connector Circuit 421 and other to a known good chassis ground.

^ Is ohmmeter reading less than 2 ohms?

YES -- Vent solenoid power Circuit 421 and ground Circuit 430E are reversed. RELOCATE these circuits to the proper location. RECONNECT air compressor assembly and air suspension control module. REPEAT Service Bay Diagnostics after service is made.

NO -- Vent solenoid valve's ground Circuit 430E has a resistance to chassis ground that is above acceptable limits. REPEAT Service Bay Diagnostics after service is made.
