EE7 Component Check

^ The previous steps have verified that the vehicle wiring harness is not the cause of the short. There are two possible causes that must now be checked (vent solenoid valve or control module). In order to determine which one is causing the short the following is required:

^ Turn air suspension switch to OFF position.

^ Reconnect air suspension control module to vehicle wiring harness.

^ Turn air suspension switch to ON position.

^ Repeat Service Bay Diagnostics without air compressor assembly connected to vehicle wiring harness.

NOTE: This test procedure will generate extra error codes because the air compressor assembly is not connected to the vehicle wiring harness.

^ Did STAR Tester display code 40 again?

YES -- TURN air suspension switch to OFF position. REPLACE air suspension control module. REPEAT Service Bay Diagnostics. Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes

NO -- REPLACE air compressor assembly. REPEAT Service Bay Diagnostics. Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes
