EI6 Checking Wiring Harness (Circuit 838 to Ground)

^ In order to determine if vehicle wiring harness has firm shock relay circuits in proper location the following test is required:

^ Using an analog ohmmeter, connect one lead to soft shock relay vehicle wiring harness connector Circuit 838 and other to a known good chassis ground.

^ Is ohmmeter reading less than 2 ohms?

YES -- Firm shock relay power Circuit 838 and ground Circuit 430D are reversed. RELOCATE these circuits to the proper location. RECONNECT firm shock relay and air suspension control module. REPEAT Service Bay Diagnostics. Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes

NO -- Go to EI7.
