GA1 Star Code 56 or 60 Actuator Desired Position Not Detected

^ The air suspension control module did not receive a signal that the left rear shock actuator went to the desired position when activated. There are eight possible causes of the actuator not switching to the desired position.

^ SOFT and/or FIRM relay is inoperative.

^ SOFT or FIRM shock relay circuit is inoperative.

^ Vehicle wiring harness power supply circuit to left rear shock actuator is shorted to ground or has an open in it.

^ Left rear shock actuator position circuit is shorted to ground or has an open in it.

^ Vehicle wiring harness connector for left rear shock actuator does not have all wires in correct location.

^ Left rear shock actuator is inoperative.

^ Left rear shock/strut assembly on vehicle is binding, preventing actuator from switching to desired position.

^ Air suspension control module is inoperative.

^ Was Star code 64 or 65 also displayed?

YES -- PERFORM Pinpoint Test GE.

NO -- GO to GA2.
