GC12 Component Check Strut Assembly Check

GC12 COMPONENT CHECK STRUT ASSEMBLY CHECK

^ Remove known good actuator from right front corner of vehicle and exchange places with suspected left front actuator.

^ install and reconnect two shock actuators to vehicle shocks and wiring harness.

^ REPEAT Service Bay Diagnostics.

^ Did STAR tester display a code 58 and/or 62?

YES -- SERVICE left front shock/strut assembly for binding (force required to switch from SOFT to FIRM). REPEAT Service Bay Diagnostics. Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes

NO -- Problem of not switching to desired position may have been due to actuator not being properly mounted to strut and is now corrected.
