GC8 Component Check Position Circuit

GC8 COMPONENT CHECK POSITION CIRCUIT

^ Remove left front actuator from top of left front shock/strut.

^ Use a small blade screwdriver to rotate control tube on bottom of actuator to SOFT (S position).

^ Using an analog ohmmeter, measure resistance across Pins 1 and 2.

^ Ohmmeter reading is:

5 ohms or less -- GO to GC9.

10,000 ohms or greater -- REPLACE left front greater actuator and REPEAT Service Bay Diagnostics. Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes
