GE8 Wiring Harness Check (Circuit 646A)

^ In order to determine if problem exists in the actuator activation circuit, the following actions are required:

^ Using an analog ohmmeter, connect one lead to Circuit 646A of the SOFT relay connector and the other lead to a known good chassis ground.

^ Is resistance reading greater than 10,000 ohms?

YES -- GO to GE9.

NO -- SERVICE short to ground in activation circuit. REPLACE both the SOFT and FIRM relays. REPEAT Service Bay Diagnostics. Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes
