IB15 Checking Wiring Harness (Circuit 430B)

^ It is desired to activate the Compressor Toggle functional test mode again. In order to do this the following action is required:

^ Release STAR test button so that it remains in the up HOLD position after code 31 has been displayed for at least 5 seconds.

^ Using a voltmeter, connect positive lead to Circuit 420 of air compressor relay's wiring harness connector and negative lead to Circuit 430B.

NOTE: As long as STAR test button is in the up HOLD position the selected functional test will continue. The Compressor Toggle test is used to verify that the air suspension control module can activate the air compressor. This is done by cycling it ON and OFF continuously until STAR test button is depressed down again.

^ Does voltage reading fluctuate between zero and battery voltage (check is to be over a one minute time period)?

YES -- RECONNECT air compressor assembly to vehicle wiring harness. REPLACE air compressor relay and then REPEAT Service Bay Diagnostics. Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes

NO -- GO to IB16.
