JC5 Wiring Harness Check (Circuit 636)

^ Disconnect vehicle's electrical wiring harness connector from brake pressure switch.

^ Using an analog ohmmeter, connect one lead to wiring harness connector Pin 7 (Circuit 636) and the other lead to Pin 6 (Circuit 432D).

^ Is ohmmeter reading greater than 10,000 ohms?

YES -- REPLACE brake pressure switch and REPEAT Service Bay Diagnostics. Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes

NO -- Brake pressure switch Circuits 636/432D are shorted together. REPEAT Service Bay Diagnostics after service is made.
