JD5 Component Check (Circuit 634)

^ Using an analog ohmmeter (set on the 1K scale), connect one lead to control module wiring harness connector Pin 24 (Circuit 634) and other to a known good chassis ground.

^ Slowly rotate the steering wheel.

^ Does ohmmeter needle swing from a low reading to a higher resistance and to low again approximately every nine degrees of steering wheel rotation?

YES -- RECONNECT air suspension control module and REPEAT Service Bay Diagnostics. Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes If STAR Tester still displays code 74 REPLACE air suspension control module.

NO -- GO to JD6.
