JE3 Control Module Check
^ The acceleration signal detection problem has been narrowed down to either the air suspension control module or the engine Powertrain Control Module. In order to determine which one is causing the problem the following actions are required:
^ Repeat the automatic portion of Service Bay Diagnostics with the engine off and the engine Powertrain Control Module disconnected.
^ When STAR II Tester displays a code 12 or 13 take a jumper wire and connect one end to the Powertrain Control Module wiring harness connector Pin 32 (Circuit 637) and the other end to Battery Ground for about three to four seconds. Remove jumper wire afterwards.
^ Perform all the other manual checks and then release STAR test button to the up HOLD position. After waiting five seconds depress the STAR test button again to the down TEST position.
^ Did STAR Tester display code 72 again?
YES -- REPLACE air suspension control module and REPEAT Service Bay Diagnostics. Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes
NO -- SERVICE Powertrain Control Module system. REFER to Powertrain Management/Computers and Control Systems. REPEAT Service Bay Diagnostics. Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes
