Power Seats
DESCRIPTIONThe Driver's and Passenger's Power Seat Motor assemblies each contain three reversible motors within the same housing.
OPERATION
Contacts inside the Seat Control Switches determine the direction of current flow through the motors. The direction of current flow determines the direction of motor rotation, which controls the seat adjustment direction.
A circuit breaker protects each motor in case power is supplied to a stalled motor. The motor can stall from either mechanical failure or from running to the limit of travel.
The FWD/RWD Motor drives the seat forward and backward.
The Front Height Motor drives the front of the seat up and down.
The Rear Height Motor drives the rear of the seat up and down.
The motors are grounded when the switches are at rest.
