REASONS FOR THIS PROGRAM
We have found that continuous water dripping from a hole in the cowl area may be ingested into the throttle position sensor. This can cause a no start condition, erratic transmission shifts, malfunction indicator light on or high idle speeds.

SERVICE ACTION
To correct this condition, dealers are to seal the hole in the cowl, install a water shield and replace the throttle" position sensor on each of the affected cars.

REFUNDS
Only for owner-paid repairs made before date of Owner Letter.
