A16 - Check For IGN GND Open to Processor

^ Key off.

^ DVOM on 2K ohm scale.

^ Measure resistance between J5O (IGN GND I) at the breakout box and Pin 18 (IGN GND) at the second breakout box.

^ Is resistance less than 1050 ohms?

YES -- Ignition system is OK. Remove all test equipment. Reconnect all components. Clear continuous memory. Rerun quick test. GO to Diagnostic Routines for no start problems.

NO -- Check connectors, service or replace harness. IGN GND Is open. Remove all test equipment. Reconnect all components. Clear continuous memory. Rerun quick test.
