Retrieving and Clearing DTCs
The diagnosis for the air suspension consists of the Function Test procedure, Auto Test procedure and the Diagnostic Pinpoint Tests. The Function Test and Auto Test procedures require a Rotunda Super Star II Tester, 007-0041A, connected to the diagnostic connector located on the RH front shock absorber tower. During the Auto Test procedure, the Super Star II Tester will display any diagnostic trouble codes stored in the control module. In general, most diagnostic and service actions will contain the following steps:1. Perform function test 211 to retrieve stored codes.
2. Perform the Auto Test to find current system errors.
3. Service current errors by performing pinpoint tests indicated for the error code.
4. Service codes retrieved by original function test.
5. Perform Auto Test to verify that all concerns have been corrected.
