Brake Lamp: Description and Operation

OPERATION

When the Brake On/Off (BOO) Switch is closed, current flows through Fuse 12 to the Hi Mount Stop Lamps and the Rear Turn/Stop Lamps. The same rear lamps are used for stop and turn (controlled by Turn Switch).

NOTE: Only the Hi Mount Stop lamp is powered when the Hazard Flashers are on.
