Transmission Speed Sensor: Description and Operation

PURPOSE
The frequency from the Turbine Shaft Speed (TSS) Sensor supplies the powertrain control module with turbine shaft speed information.

This information is used in determining EPC pressure and torque converter engagement schedules.
