XB124 - Check HFP Circuit For Short to Ground

- Key "OFF".

- Variable Control Relay Module (VCRM) disconnected.

- High Speed Fuel Pump (HFP) relay disconnected.

- Measure resistance between Pin 10 at the VCRM vehicle harness connector and the battery negative post.

- Is resistance greater than 10,000 ohms?

Yes -- Replace HFP relay. Reconnect all components. Rerun quick test. Quick Test Appendix (Detailed Testing Instructions)

No -- Service HFP circuit short to ground. Reconnect all components. Rerun quick test. Quick Test Appendix (Detailed Testing Instructions)
