XB33 - Check Power to Cooling Fan Circuit Continuity

- Key "OFF".

- Cooling fan disconnected.

- Disconnected Variable Control Relay Module (VCRM). Inspect for damaged or pushed out pins, corrosion, loose wires, etc. Service as necessary.

- Measure resistance between the power-to-cooling fan circuit at the cooling fan vehicle harness connector and Pins 2 and 3 of the VCRM vehicle harness connector.

- Is resistance less than 5.0 ohms?

Yes -- Replace VCRM. Reconnect all components. Rerun quick test. Quick Test Appendix (Detailed Testing Instructions)

No -- Service open in power-to-cooling fan circuit. Reconnect all components. Rerun quick test. Quick Test Appendix (Detailed Testing Instructions)
