XB58 - Check Continuity of ACP Circuit

- Key "OFF".

- Disconnect A/C Pressure (ACP) sensor.

- Disconnect Variable Control Relay Module (VCRM). Inspect for damaged or pushed out pins, corrosion, loose wires, etc. Service as necessary.

- Measure resistance between the ACP circuit at the ACP sensor vehicle harness connector and Pin 19 at the VCRM vehicle harness connector.

- Is resistance less than 5.0 ohms?

Yes -- Go to XB59. XB59 - Check ACP Circuit For Short to Power

No -- Service open ACP circuit. Remove test lamp and jumper. Reconnect all components. Clear continuous memory. Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes

A/C "OFF", Start engine. Turn A/C "ON", wait 20 seconds. Key "OFF", A/C "OFF". Rerun quick test. Quick Test Appendix (Detailed Testing Instructions)
