XB60 - Test Lamp At A/C Clutch Will Turn On With ACP Grounded
- Key "OFF".
- A/C Pressure (ACP) sensor disconnected.
- Reconnect Variable Control Relay Module (VCRM).
Air Conditioning Pressure Tester Connector:
- A/C Cyclic Pressure Switch disconnected. Jumper wire installed in vehicle harness connector.
- A/C clutch disconnected.
- Non-powered test lamp connected between the Power-to-A/C clutch circuit and A/C clutch ground circuit at the A/C clutch vehicle harness connector.
- Connect a jumper wire between the ACP signal circuit at the ACP sensor vehicle harness connector and the battery negative post.
- Start engine.
- A/C "ON", wait 10 seconds.
- Is test lamp on?
Yes -- Key "OFF". Replace ACP sensor. Remove test lamp and jumpers. Reconnect all components. Clear continuous memory. Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes
A/C "OFF". Start engine. Turn A/C "ON", wait 20 seconds. Key "OFF", A/C "OFF". Rerun quick test. Quick Test Appendix (Detailed Testing Instructions)
No -- Key "OFF". Replace VCRM. Remove test lamp and jumpers. Reconnect all components. Clear continuous memory. Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes
A/C "OFF". Start engine. Turn A/C "ON". wait 20 seconds. Key "OFF", A/C "OFF". Rerun quick test. Quick Test Appendix (Detailed Testing Instructions)
