K3 Check Pump Motor Operation With NGS

- Reconnect 28-pin connector wiring harness to the anti-lock brake control module.

- Connect New Generation Star (NGS) Tester to Data link Connector (DLC.)

- Enter Diagnostic Data Link.

- Enter ABS - Anti-Lock Brake Module.

- Enter Active Command Mode.

- Enter ABS Output Control.

- Command pump motor ON.

- Does pump motor run?

YES -- Reverify symptom.

NO -- Replace anti-lock brake control module. Restore vehicle. Retest system.
