Air Cleaner Housing: Service and Repair

Air Induction System:

REMOVAL and INSTALLATION

1. Loosen engine air cleaner tube clamp on air cleaner outlet tube. Disconnect air cleaner outlet tube from engine air cleaner cover.

2. Disconnect mass air flow sensor engine control sensor extension wiring from engine control sensor wiring. Remove air cleaner cover and air cleaner element.

3. Remove two air cleaner body retaining bolts and air cleaner body.

4. To install, reverse removal procedures. Tighten air cleaner body retaining bolts to 8.9-12.1 Nm (79-107 lb in). Tighten engine air cleaner tube clamp to 3.4-5.2 Nm (30-46 lb in).
