Backup Lamp: Description and Operation

BACKUP LAMPS

The backup lamp system consists of:
- Transmission range (TR) sensor
- the backup lamp in the rear reflector
- circuit wiring and circuit protection

Power is supplied to the transmission range (TR) sensor through Fuse 34 (iSA). This fuse is hot in RUN. With the transaxle in REVERSE, the switch closes and power is provided to the backup lamp bulbs. Ground is provided to the backup lamp bulbs through Circuit 57 (BK)
