Brake Lamp: Description and Operation
STOPLAMPSStoplamps are mounted in the same housings as the rear lamps (13404).
Stoplamp functions are performed by double filament bulbs. The low power filaments are dedicated to the tail lamp operation and are on when the headlamp switch in sin park. Stoplamps utilize the high power filaments. The stoplamps light the high power filaments when the driver applies the brake pedal.
