Dual Three Way Catalytic Converter and Pipe

REMOVAL
^ Raise vehicle.

CAUTION: When servicing exhaust system or removing exhaust components, disconnect all Heated Oxygen Sensors (HO2S) at the wiring connectors to prevent damage to the heated oxygen sensors and wiring harness.

^ Disconnect heated oxygen sensors at wiring harness connectors.
^ Remove dual converter Y pipe flange fasteners from LH exhaust manifold and RH exhaust connector.
^ Remove bolt and nut retainer at transaxle for dual converter Y pipe.
^ Remove two remaining bolts and nuts from dual converter Y pipe outlet connection and remove dual converter Y pipe.
^ Discard exhaust converter outlet gasket.

INSTALLATION
^ Loosely install dual converter Y pipe to LH exhaust manifold and RH exhaust connector manifold connections.
^ Install dual converter Y pipe bolt and nut retainers to transaxle.
^ Install new exhaust converter outlet gasket.
^ Install dual converter Y pipe to exhaust system flex tube.
^ Align exhaust system. Starting at front of system, tighten all nuts and bolts to 34-46 Nm (26-33 ft lb).
^ Connect heated oxygen sensors to wiring harness connectors.
^ Check system for leaks. If OK, lower vehicle.
