Owner List - Yes
Parts Return - Yes - Removed Clusters
Program Coverage - No Limits

Affected Vehicles

1995-model Continentals built from start of 1995-model production through May 24, 1995 are affected by this program. Continentals were built at the Wixom Assembly plant.

Reason For This Program

An internal software program in the virtual image cluster may cause the mileage accumulation reading on the cluster odometer display to stop at 65,531 miles

Service Action

Owners will notified and asked to return their Continentals for replacement of virtual image clusters.

Owners of Continentals affected by this program are also involved in service to replace fuel delivery modules under Owner Notification Program 95B71. Owners will receive a single letter advising them of the service available for both programs.

Please make every effort to perform both programs on one service visit.

Special Dealer Parts Ordering Instructions

Because of the timing of the service parts supply you are requested to order clusters only for owners returning for service.

Loaner Cars

Ford will pay for loaner cars, if it is necessary, while parts are on order and repairs are being completed, except for fuel costs. Fuel costs are at customer expense. Dealers are to stay within the guideline charges of $30.00/daily for loaners.
