Rear Lap/Shoulder Safety Belt

- The outboard lap/shoulder rear safety belt extends from a rear safety belt retractor and tongue located on vehicle structure inner quarter panel.
- The rear safety belt is then routed through a D-ring, then through a rear safety belt opening bezel inside roof trim panel and directed downward over occupant's shoulder and chest to the lap safety belt buckle.
- The rear safety belt has a slip tongue which latches to the lap belt buckle then continues through the tongue outboard to the floor.

The center lap/shoulder rear safety belt:
- Extends from a rear safety belt retractor and tongue located on vehicle structure under package tray.
- The rear safety belt is routed through a rear safety belt opening bezel in package tray.

- The rear safety belt retractor and tongue is designed to allow the rear safety belt to move in or out freely at all times except during hard braking, cornering or impacts of 8 km/h (5 mph) or more or when the retractor has been switched to the automatic locking retractor mode to secure child restraints in front and rear passenger positions.
