Use Rotunda Digital Volt-Ohmmeter or equivalent to perform Pinpoint Tests.

Using NGS

Diagnostics for this system require use of Rotunda New Generation Star (NGS) Tester or equivalent. The module controlling the system being diagnosed communicates with the data link connector located beneath the instrument panel.

Connect the OBDII style communication cable to the NGS. Attach the NGS and communication cable to the DLC beneath the instrument panel. Select the proper vehicle model and year from the NGS menu. You may then access the testing area of the NGS menu required to diagnose this system. Refer to the following symptom chart for module selection. Begin diagnosis as outlined.

If any diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts with the letter "U", refer to the Multiplex Communication Network, and perform Data Link Diagnostic Test. Information Bus
