Traction Control System

Traction Assist (TA) is designed to control wheel spin when accelerating on slippery or loose surfaces. During acceleration, if one or both rear wheels lose traction and begin to spin, the TA system will rapidly apply and release the appropriate rear brake(s) to reduce wheel spin and aid traction. An isolation valve will also close and the Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) pump will run. The isolation valve permits brake operation only to the rear brake of the circuit by closing off pressure to the front brake.
