Parking Brake System: Adjustments

1. Make sure parking brake is fully released.
2. Raise vehicle.
3. Remove clip from parking brake cable adjuster. Install clip after parking brake cable adjuster has removed slack from cables.
4. Apply 698 N (157 lb) of force to parking brake control. Leave parking brake engaged for 20 minutes.
5. Release parking brake and repeat step 3.
6. Lower vehicle and check operation of parking brake.
