Warning Indicators
NOTE: Warning indicators are non-serviceable. Replace the instrument cluster, if required.Service Engine Soon
The Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) warning information is controlled by the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) through Circuit 658 (PK/LG).
Charging System
The battery warning symbol is displayed when there is a concern in the charging system. When concern goes away, the warning stops.
Low Oil Pressure
Oil can warning symbol illuminates when engine oil pressure drops below an acceptable value.
Safety Belt
If driver's safety belt is not fastened with ignition switch turned to RUN, the safety belt warning symbol will illuminate steadily for approximately 100 seconds. The safety belt warning chime in the lighting control module will also sound for approximately 6 (±2) seconds. If the driver fastens the safety belt while the safety belt warning is illuminated or safety belt warning chime in the lighting control module is sounding, they will turn off immediately.
Air Bag
Air bag indicator illuminates to indicate a possible concern in the air bag system.
Brake System
This warning is displayed when the brake fluid is low or when the parking brake is engaged.
ABS
The ABS symbol illuminates to indicate a possible concern in the anti-lock brake system.
High Beam
This indicator will be illuminated when the high-beam headlamps are on.
LH/RH Turn
These indicators will be flashing when activated by the multi-function switch or when the emergency flashers are activated.
Anti-Theft
The anti-theft indicator illuminates to indicate anti-theft system is armed.
Traction Control
The TIC ACTIVE indicator illuminates if wheel spin is encountered to notify the operator that the traction control system is activated. The indicator should go out as the system takes control and wheel spin is defeated.
Transmission Range Indicator
Transmission range indicator is located below tachometer.
