Ride Height

If the vehicle is equipped with Rear Air Suspension System, the rear vehicle ride hight may be adjustable. Refer to Electronic Level Control for further information. Suspension Control ( Automatic - Electronic )

The Accurate Trim Test should be used when attempting to measure ride height of the vehicle or before attempting a wheel alignment operation. Refer to Electronic Level Control Testing for further information.

This test commands the vehicle dynamics control module to adjust the air suspension such that each corner of the vehicle (LF, RF, LR) is within ±2 mm (0.07 inch) of design height as defined by the current height sensor adjustment and ride height calibration. No DTCs are displayed unless a fault is encountered during the accurate trim operation. Upon reaching the nominal ride height Rotunda New Generation Star Tester 007-00500 or equivalent will display "system passed". The ride height should then be measured or the alignment procedure carried out.

Nominal Ride Height
Front: 635 mm (25.00 inch)
Rear: 616 mm (24.25 inch)
